Unser Camp und die Umgebung ist eine tolle Erlebniswelt für Jugendgruppen und Schulklassen. Beliebt sind bei Kindern oder Jugendlichen unsere Tipis, die jeweils für 6-8 Personen Platz bieten. Auch in den Planwagen (insgesamt 22 Schlafplätze) wird gern übernachtet. Die Tipis haben einen Holzhackschnitzelboden, die Planwagen sind mit Pritschen ausgestattet. Für beide Unterkunftstypen benötigt man Schlafsack und Isomatte. Wer möchte bringt seine eigene Stoffwohnung mit.
Damit es nicht zu Interessenkollisionen mit unseren anderen Gästen kommt, können wir Gruppen nur von montags bis freitags aufnehmen. Trotzdem werden wir auch in dieser Zeit andere Gäste haben, auf die Rücksicht zu nehmen ist. Deswegen erwarten wir von den Betreuern ein Programm, mit dem die Gruppe beschäftigt wird. Unsere Erlebnisbausteine bereichern den Aufenthalt. Kanufahren, Kanuspiele und Floßbau ebnen den Weg für neue Erfahrungshorizonte. Ansonsten ist für Spiele genügend Raum vorhanden, und zwar „Naturraum“.
In unmittelbarer Nähe des Camps befindet sich eine öffentliche Seebadestelle mit abgegrenztem Nichtschwimmerbereich. In Salem (2 km Fußweg) gibt es eine Bootsvermietung mit Tretbooten. Wer mobil ist, kann die Umgebung erkunden: in Schmilau Draisine fahren, die Städte Ratzeburg, Mölln oder Lübeck besuchen.
